Waiting

Waiting is never easy or fun when you are on a trip.  But, it is part of traveling.  Here we are in Portland just east of the airport waiting.  It is just a few hours now until we wing our way to Uganda.  I suppose that waiting is a good thing if kept in a positive, or should I say, a biblical light.  Isaiah 40:31 comes to mind.  "They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint."  It is good to wait upon the Lord for He always has good things in store for His kids.  I am learning, but it has taken a lifetime.  That being said, I still don't like waiting much.
